Island Fishing Lake

Island Lake is a two-acre fishing spot with an island, shaded pines, and diverse species including Tench, Carp, Roach, Perch, and Rudd, offering excellent angling opportunities near the log cabins.

Description

Covering two acres, The Island Lake features depths ranging from 5 to 6 feet, with a slightly deeper hole at the northern end. One of its most distinctive features is the island located at the southern end. Mature pine trees provide welcome shade and shelter year-round.

Fishing is excellent all around the lake, with pegs around the island consistently producing good weights of silver fish. Carp up to 13lb are regularly caught, often close to the margins. On the far side of the lake, large clusters of water lilies offer ideal cover for big fish, especially during the summer months.

Island Lake is particularly renowned for its Tench, with specimens reaching up to 7lb. Its proximity to the log cabins makes it a favourite among our guests. Main Species: Tench, Carp from 3lb to 14lb, Roach, Perch & Rudd.
